Deutsche AnwaltsCooperation (DAC) e. V. was founded in 1997 in Munich with the objective of creating a comprehensive network of small to medium-sized law firms specialising in commercial and employment law, but where private clients could also be sure of finding expert assistance with their legal problems. The DAC network is currently made up of around 70 lawyers in Germany and abroad. The law firms at which they work represent around 350 legal practitioners, including notarial staff, auditors, CPAs and tax advisors. This ensures the availability of an inter-disciplinary team for dealing with complex briefs as required.This enables us to guarantee our clients the highest standard of legal advice and representation.
In view of the ongoing juridification of many areas of life and attempts to harmonise legal systems, in particular within the EU but also further afield, the DAC also offers the requisite international expertise for complex cases.
DAC – networking for the benefit of the client
As a client seeking legal advice, you will still find your trusted legal practitioner in your local DAC law firm as usual. You will be offered reliable, dedicated, expert advice and legal representation in court and in communications with government agencies and opposing parties.
If necessary, with your consent your local representative can involve the relevant DAC expert or a German-speaking foreign DAC lawyer.
For larger projects, your DAC lawyer will initiate the deployment of specialist lawyers, and coordinate teamwork in order to achieve an appropriate, comprehensive solution to your problem, thereby relieving you of the need to explore various different legal avenues or consult a variety of different specialists or even to coordinate their work.

DAC – International – erasing borders for our clients
DAC e.V. is currently represented in many EU member states through foreign DAC law firms and other partners. Additional overseas bases are present in Asia and North America. The international network is constantly growing.

Additional services are offered through DAC’s collaboration with legal expense insurance providers, conditional fee agreement (no win, no fee) financers and other legal associations or advocacy groups in areas such as inheritance provision or business succession, development of distribution systems, cross-border (accident) damages claims or company formation and restructuring.

Via the DAC Academy, we offer our members further training, we procure speakers on topical legal issues for relevant workshops and can also organise such events for you.
Through our members, we have intimate knowledge of the latest law-related political developments in Berlin and Brussels and can thus react rapidly to the latest developments in the legal and commercial world for the benefit of our clients.
DAC lawyers practice, according to the area in which they specialise, in all branches of the judiciary right up to the highest level. One of our members is a Bundesgerichtshof (German Federal Court of Justice) lawyer.
